Best Proxy to Use When Applying to College Through OpenCC: Any Recommendations? - webLurker77 - 07-01-2025

Hey everyone!

So, I’m in the middle of applying to college through OpenCC, and I’m kinda stuck on figuring out the best proxy to use when applying college through OpenCC. I’ve heard some proxies can mess up the process or get blocked, and I really don’t wanna risk it.

Anyone got recommendations? Like, something reliable and fast? I’m not super techy, so I’d prefer something easy to set up. Also, if it’s affordable, that’d be a huge plus lol.

Oh, and if you’ve used a specific one for OpenCC, lemme know how it went! Did it work smoothly or were there any hiccups?

Thanks in advance, y’all! Appreciate any help. Smile

Hey! I was in the same boat last year. I used NordVPN for applying through OpenCC, and it worked like a charm. Super easy to set up, and it didn’t mess with the application process at all. Plus, it’s pretty affordable if you get the yearly plan. Definitely recommend it as the best proxy to use when applying college through OpenCC.

Yo, I’ve tried a few proxies, and honestly, ExpressVPN is the way to go. It’s fast, reliable, and doesn’t get blocked by OpenCC. I used it for my apps last semester, and it was smooth sailing. A bit pricey, but worth it if you don’t wanna deal with hiccups.

Hey! I’m not super techy either, but I used Surfshark for OpenCC, and it was super easy to set up. It’s also one of the cheaper options out there, and I didn’t have any issues with it. Worked great for me!

I’d suggest trying out ProtonVPN. It’s free (with some limitations) and super reliable. I used it for OpenCC, and it didn’t give me any trouble. If you’re on a tight budget, this might be the best proxy to use when applying college through OpenCC.

Honestly, I’d avoid free proxies. They’re super hit or miss and can mess up your application. I used CyberGhost for OpenCC, and it was super smooth. It’s affordable and has a ton of servers, so you’re less likely to run into issues.

Wow, thanks so much, everyone! I didn’t expect so many helpful replies. I think I’m gonna go with NordVPN since a few of you recommended it, and it sounds like the best proxy to use when applying college through OpenCC. I’ll let y’all know how it goes once I set it up. Fingers crossed it works smoothly! Thanks again!

I’ve heard good things about Private Internet Access (PIA) for OpenCC. It’s fast, secure, and doesn’t break the bank. I haven’t personally used it for college apps, but my friend did, and they said it worked perfectly.

If you’re looking for something super simple, try Windscribe. It’s user-friendly and has a free plan with decent speeds. I used it for OpenCC, and it worked fine for me. Just make sure to pick a server close to your location for better speed.

I used TunnelBear for OpenCC, and it was great! Super easy to use, even for non-techy folks like me. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s reliable and didn’t cause any issues during my application process.
