"Does proxy yt actually work, or are there better options now?"
Hey guys, been using proxy yt for a while to watch geo-blocked vids, but lately it feels hit or miss. Sometimes it’s smooth, other times the buffering is unbearable or the site just straight-up blocks it.
Anyone else noticing this? Are the restrictions getting tighter, or is proxy yt still the go-to?
I’ve heard VPNs might be more reliable now, but tbh, I don’t wanna pay for one if a free proxy yt method does the trick.
Also, what’s the safest proxy yt site rn? Some of them sketch me out with ads or weird redirects.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I tried Opera’s VPN like someone mentioned, and it’s actually working way better than proxy yt. Still a bit slow, but no buffering.
Might check out Windscribe or ProtonVPN next since y’all seem to recommend them.
Anyone know if these VPNs work with Netflix too? Or is that a whole other headache?
