Wow, thanks for all the replies, everyone! This is super helpful. I didn’t realize there were so many ways to mess up even with Tor. I’ll definitely check out the Tor Project’s website and maybe try Tails OS or Whonix for extra security.
One follow-up question though: if I use a VPN with Tor, does that make it safer, or could it actually make things worse? I’ve heard mixed things about that too. Thanks again!
