Unblocked static is such a weird issue. I fixed mine by using a different USB port for my audio interface. Sometimes the ports can get noisy, especially if they’re sharing bandwidth with other devices.
Also, check out this site called "Sound on Sound" (soundonsound.com). They have a great article on troubleshooting audio interference.

Hey, I had the same issue, and it was my smart home devices causing the unblocked static. I turned off my Alexa and smart plugs, and the crackling stopped.
If you’re still stuck, try this tool called "Ground Hum Eliminator." It’s a bit pricey, but it works like magic for unblocked static.
