Wow, thanks so much for all the replies, everyone! This has been super helpful. I think I’ll stick with ScreamingFrog for now but take some of your advice, like running it locally and avoiding sensitive data.
I might also check out Sitebulb or DeepCrawl as alternatives, just to compare.
Quick follow-up: has anyone tried using ScreamingFrog with a VPN? Does it slow things down or cause any issues?

I’ve never had any issues with ScreamingFrog security, but I get why you’re asking. I think it’s always good to be cautious with any tool that handles data.
If you’re still unsure, maybe try reaching out to their support team. They’re usually pretty helpful and can give you some peace of mind.
