Same here! The "why does Facebook keep saying session expired" error kept happening to me too. I fixed it by disabling my antivirus temporarily. Apparently, it was blocking Facebook’s cookies.
If you’re using an antivirus or firewall, try whitelisting Facebook and see if that helps.

I feel your pain! The "why does Facebook keep saying session expired" issue is so frustrating. I fixed mine by clearing my browser’s saved passwords and then logging in fresh.
Also, try using Facebook’s desktop site on your phone instead of the app. Sometimes the app glitches, but the desktop site works fine.
