The blocked vs deactivated instagram thing is such a mystery. One thing I did was use a different device to search for their profile. If it showed up there but not on my main account, I knew I was blocked.

It’s a bit of a hassle, but it works. Also, don’t stress too much about it. People come and go on social media all the time.

I’ve been through this too, and it’s so confusing. For blocked vs deactivated instagram, I usually check if their profile shows up in my search history. If it’s there but I can’t access it, I’m blocked. If it’s completely gone, they deactivated.

It’s a bit of a guessing game, but that’s usually how I figure it out. Also, don’t stress too much about it. Social media can be so dramatic sometimes.
