Honestly, I wouldn’t sweat it. I’ve done the same thing, and my account is still fine. Epic Games isn’t gonna ban you for a simple mistake.
But if you’re worried, maybe use a VPN with split tunneling, like ProtonVPN. It lets you choose which apps use the VPN and which don’t, so you can avoid this issue altogether.
