Wow, thanks everyone for clearing up what does deadstock mean! I had no idea it had to be brand new—thought it could be lightly used too.
I checked out StockX and GOAT like some of you suggested, and it’s wild how much people are paying for deadstock sneakers. Like, thousands for a pair of Jordans from the 90s? Crazy.
I’m still curious though—how do you even verify if something is truly deadstock? Like, what stops someone from selling fakes as deadstock? Anyone know?
