Hey, just wanted to add that for linux curl proxy testing, you can use `curl -I` to fetch headers only. It’s faster and shows if the proxy is working.
Also, check out ProxyCheck.io to verify if your proxy is leaking your real IP. Super helpful for security.

Wow, thanks for all the tips, everyone! I tried using `curl --proxy https://proxy-server:port https://example.com` with auth, and it worked! The verbose output helped me spot a few issues, but it’s all good now.
Quick question though—anyone know if there’s a way to automate proxy switching with curl? Like, cycling through a list of proxies for different requests? That’d be super handy for what I’m working on.
Also, shoutout to the person who suggested httpbin.org/ip. That site is a lifesaver for testing!
