I’ve had my fair share of struggles with https and proxy setups. One thing that helped me was using Let’s Encrypt for SSL certificates. It’s free and works seamlessly with most proxies.
For debugging, I use Charles Proxy. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth it if you’re dealing with a lot of https traffic.
