Had my IP leaked in a Discord fight once. DDoS’d for a day, then it stopped.

What someone can do with your ip address is mostly temporary chaos. But if you’re paranoid:
- VPNs (Tor is free but slow)
- Use a dynamic IP (most ISPs offer this)
- Don’t engage trolls

Overkill? Maybe. Peace of mind? Priceless.
