yo, try updating your java runtime.
mega downlader 2.5 v relies on it and an outdated version can cause freezes.
if that doesn’t help, maybe your antivirus is interfering?

tried jdownloader2 and it’s way faster like some of you said.
still gonna keep mega downlader 2.5 v as a backup tho.
weird how it just got slow outta nowhere. anyone know if mega changed something recently?
