Hey everyone!
So, I’ve been trying to access YouTube from my college network, but it’s blocked (ugh). I’ve heard a youtube proxy service might help, but I’m not sure which one’s reliable.
Anyone got recommendations for a good youtube proxy service? Preferably something fast and doesn’t buffer every 2 seconds lol.
Also, free or paid, doesn’t matter as long as it works. Just don’t wanna end up with some sketchy site, ya know?

Hey! I’ve been in the same boat before. I used a youtube proxy service called "ProxySite" and it worked pretty well for me. It’s free and doesn’t buffer too much unless the network is super slow. Just make sure to use the HTTPS version for better security.

Yo, I feel you on the college network struggle lol. I’d recommend trying out "Hide.me" – it’s not just a youtube proxy service but a full-on VPN. It’s super fast and doesn’t buffer much. They have a free version, but the paid one is way better if you’re streaming a lot.

Honestly, I’d avoid free proxies for youtube. They can be sketchy and slow. I use "NordVPN" – it’s paid but totally worth it. Super fast, no buffering, and you can access way more than just youtube. Plus, it’s secure, so no worries about sketchy stuff.

Have you tried "KProxy"? It’s a free youtube proxy service that’s pretty reliable. I’ve used it to bypass blocks at work, and it works like a charm. Just don’t expect 4K quality, but it’s decent for regular videos.

If you’re okay with paid options, "ExpressVPN" is the GOAT for unblocking youtube. It’s fast, secure, and works on almost any network. I’ve been using it for years, and it’s never let me down.

Free proxies can be hit or miss, but "Hola VPN" is a decent option for a youtube proxy service. It’s browser-based, so no downloads needed. Just be careful with the free version – it’s not the most secure, but it gets the job done for streaming.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I tried ProxySite and KProxy, and they both worked pretty well. ProxySite was faster for me, but KProxy had less ads.
I’m thinking of trying NordVPN or ExpressVPN next since a lot of you recommended them. Do they work on mobile too? Or just desktop?

I’d suggest "Windscribe" – it’s a VPN, but it works as a youtube proxy service too. They have a free plan with 10GB/month, which is enough for casual streaming. It’s fast and doesn’t buffer much, even on slower networks.
