Hey y’all, so I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about roblox ip banning hackers lately and I’m kinda curious… does it actually work? Like, I get that they’re trying to stop cheaters and all, but isn’t it super easy to just use a VPN or something to bypass it?
I’ve heard mixed opinions—some say it’s effective, others think it’s just a temporary fix. What’s your take? Have you ever encountered someone who got roblox ip banning hackers and still managed to come back?
Also, do you think Roblox should focus more on other anti-cheat methods instead? Idk, just feels like there’s gotta be a better way to handle this.

IP bans can be tricky, especially with tools like VPNs being so accessible. From what I’ve seen, roblox ip banning hackers works for casual cheaters who don’t know how to bypass it, but for the more persistent ones, it’s just a speed bump.
I think Roblox should invest in better anti-cheat software like Easy Anti-Cheat or even develop their own system. Relying solely on IP bans feels outdated.

Honestly, roblox ip banning hackers is kinda hit or miss. I’ve seen people get banned and come back within hours using a VPN. It’s not a long-term solution.

I’ve been playing Roblox for years, and I’ve seen my fair share of hackers. IP bans do stop some, but like you said, VPNs make it pointless.
I think Roblox should combine IP bans with other methods, like behavior analysis or machine learning to detect cheats. There’s a tool called BattlEye that does this pretty well—maybe they could take inspiration from that.

Roblox ip banning hackers is effective for casual players who don’t know how to bypass it, but for the pros, it’s nothing.
I think they should focus on improving their reporting system and moderating games better. Maybe even add a reward system for players who report hackers successfully.

IP bans are so 2010 lol. Hackers have way too many tools to get around them now.
Roblox should look into something like VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat). It’s not perfect, but it’s way better than just banning IPs.

I’ve seen a few hackers get roblox ip banning hackers and they just came back the next day. It’s frustrating.
Maybe Roblox could implement a two-factor authentication system for accounts? That way, even if they bypass the IP ban, they can’t easily create new accounts.
