Hey guys,
Sooo, why does my facebook keep saying session expired?? It’s been happening for like 2 days now and it’s driving me nuts.
I’ll be scrolling, then bam—logged out. Tried clearing cache, restarting my phone, even reinstalled the app. Still no luck.
Anyone else facing this issue? Or is it just me? Pls tell me I’m not alone lol.
Also, if anyone’s found a fix, lmk. I’m tired of logging back in every 5 mins.

Ugh, I feel you! I was dealing with the same "why does my facebook keep saying session expired" issue last week. Turns out, it was a problem with my VPN. If you’re using one, try disabling it and see if that helps.
Also, check if your Facebook app is updated. Sometimes the older versions glitch out. Hope this works for you!

Hey! I had this exact problem a while back. For me, it was because of some weird browser extensions messing with Facebook. If you’re using Facebook on a browser, try disabling extensions or switching to incognito mode.
If it’s the app, maybe try logging in through a different device to see if it’s device-specific. Good luck!

Same here! It’s so annoying, right? I found that clearing the app data (not just cache) worked for me. Go to your phone settings > apps > Facebook > storage > clear data.
You’ll have to log in again, but it fixed the "why does my facebook keep saying session expired" thing for me. Worth a shot!

Yo, this happened to me too! I think it’s a bug on Facebook’s end. I checked Downdetector (great site for checking outages btw), and a bunch of people were reporting the same issue.
Maybe just wait it out? Or try logging in through the browser instead of the app. Sometimes the app is just glitchy af.

Omg, I thought it was just me! I was like, "why does my facebook keep saying session expired" every 10 minutes. I tried everything—clearing cache, reinstalling, nada.
Then I switched to the Facebook Lite app, and it worked perfectly. Maybe give that a try? It’s less fancy but way more stable.

Thanks so much, everyone! I tried a few of the suggestions—cleared app data, logged out of all sessions, and even switched to Facebook Lite. It’s been a few hours, and so far, so good!
Quick question though: if it happens again, should I just wait it out or contact Facebook support? Has anyone tried reaching out to them?

Hey! This might sound random, but check your date and time settings on your phone. If they’re off, it can mess with Facebook’s session stuff.
Go to settings > date & time > set automatically. Fixed it for me when I was dealing with the same issue. Hope it helps!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I had this issue for DAYS. Turns out, it was because I had too many active sessions open.
Go to Facebook settings > security and login > where you’re logged in. Log out of all sessions and try again. Worked like a charm for me!

This kept happening to me too! I read somewhere that it could be because of a corrupted cookie. If you’re on a browser, try clearing cookies specifically for Facebook.
If it’s the app, maybe try logging in through a browser first to see if it’s an app issue. Good luck!
