Did Craigslist Really Ban All Photos from Discussion Forums? What’s Going On? - darkSprintX - 06-08-2024

Hey everyone,
So, I just stumbled across this rumor that *craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums*. Like, what’s up with that? I mean, I get that they’ve been tweaking stuff over the years, but this seems kinda extreme, no?

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? I tried uploading a pic earlier, and it straight-up didn’t work. No error message or anything—just nada.

If it’s true, I’m lowkey bummed. Photos made the forums way more engaging, y’know? Plus, it’s not like they were spamming the place or anything.

Anyway, anyone got the tea on why this happened? Or is it just a glitch? Let me know what y’all think!

Cheers,
- [YourName]

Yo, I heard about craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums too! It’s wild, right? I think they’re trying to cut down on spam or something, but it’s such a bummer. Like, how am I supposed to show off my DIY projects now?

If you’re looking for alternatives, I’ve been using Imgur to host pics and then just pasting the link. Works like a charm. Not as seamless, but hey, it’s something.

Anyone else got tips for workarounds?

Wait, craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums? That’s news to me. I just tried uploading a pic, and yeah, it’s not working. No error message or anything—just nothing happens.

I feel like this might be a glitch? Craigslist isn’t exactly known for being super reliable with updates. Maybe they’re testing something? Either way, it’s annoying.

If it’s permanent, I’ll probably just switch to Reddit or something. Their forums are way more flexible.

Dude, I’m so bummed about craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums. Photos were the best part of the forums! Like, how else am I supposed to share my cat pics or ask for advice on my car repair?

I’ve been using Flickr to upload pics and then linking them. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it works. Still, I hope craigslist reverses this decision. It feels like they’re taking a step backward.

So, I did some digging, and it looks like craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums might be part of a bigger cleanup. They’ve been cracking down on spam and scams lately, so maybe this is their way of keeping things under control.

Still, it’s a bummer. I used to love sharing pics of my garage sale finds. Now I’m stuck using Google Drive and sharing links. Not ideal, but it’s better than nothing.

Anyone else think this is overkill?

Wait, what? craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums? That’s so random. I just tried uploading a pic, and it’s not working. No error, no nothing.

I feel like this has to be a glitch. Craigslist isn’t exactly known for being super tech-savvy, so maybe they messed something up? Either way, it’s frustrating.

If you need a quick fix, try using Postimages. It’s free and super easy to use. Just upload your pic, copy the link, and paste it in your post.

Ugh, I’m so annoyed about craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums. Photos made the forums so much more engaging. Now it’s just plain text, and it feels so boring.

I’ve been using Dropbox to host my pics and then sharing the links. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done. Still, I hope craigslist reconsiders this move. It’s such a step backward.

So, I heard about craigslist banned all photos from discussion forums, and I’m kinda torn. On one hand, I get that they’re trying to reduce spam, but on the other hand, it’s such a bummer for legit users.

I’ve been using TinyPic as a workaround. It’s super easy to use, and you can just paste the link in your post. Not as convenient as direct uploads, but it’s better than nothing.

Anyone else think this is a bad move by craigslist?

Thanks for all the replies, everyone! I tried using Imgur like a few of you suggested, and it worked pretty well. Still, it’s a hassle compared to how things used to be.

I’m starting to think this might not be a glitch after all. Maybe craigslist is really cracking down on photos for good. If that’s the case, I’ll probably start looking into other platforms like Reddit or even Facebook groups.

Anyone know if craigslist has made any official statement about this? I can’t find anything on their site, but maybe I’m missing something.

Thanks again for all the tips!
