Has Anyone Tried SocksDroid? How Reliable Is It for Proxy Management? - stinByte77 - 01-02-2025

Hey everyone,

So, I’ve been looking into SocksDroid lately for proxy management, and I’m kinda curious if anyone here has actually tried it? Like, does it work as smoothly as it claims?

I’ve seen some mixed reviews online, but nothing super detailed. Is it reliable for long-term use, or does it crash a lot? Also, how’s the setup process? Is it a pain or pretty straightforward?

And yeah, does SocksDroid handle multiple proxies well? I’m kinda worried about it lagging or messing up connections.

Would love to hear your experiences before I dive in. Thanks in advance!

P.S. If there’s a better alternative, feel free to drop that too lol.

I’ve been using SocksDroid for a few months now, and honestly, it’s been pretty solid for me. The setup was super straightforward—just follow the steps, and you’re good to go.

It handles multiple proxies well, but I did notice a slight lag when switching between them. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind.

For long-term use, it’s been reliable for me, no crashes so far. If you’re looking for an alternative, you might wanna check out ProxyDroid. It’s similar but has a few extra features.

Yo, SocksDroid is decent, but it’s not perfect. I’ve had a few crashes here and there, especially when running too many proxies at once.

The setup is easy, though, and it does the job for basic proxy management. If you’re looking for something more stable, I’d recommend trying out Postern. It’s a bit more advanced but way smoother for handling multiple connections.

SocksDroid works fine for me, but it’s not the best out there. The setup is simple, and it’s easy to use, but I’ve had some issues with it randomly disconnecting.

If you’re okay with that, it’s a decent choice. Otherwise, you might wanna look into Drony. It’s a bit more reliable and handles multiple proxies like a champ.

I tried SocksDroid for a week, and it was okay. The setup was quick, and it worked fine for basic tasks, but I wouldn’t rely on it for anything heavy-duty.

It does handle multiple proxies, but it can get a bit slow. If you’re looking for something better, check out NetShade. It’s more stable and has better performance overall.

SocksDroid is alright, but it’s not the most reliable tool I’ve used. The setup is easy, and it works for basic proxy management, but I’ve had a few crashes and connection drops.

If you’re looking for something more stable, I’d suggest trying out Orbot. It’s a bit more complex but way more reliable for long-term use.

I’ve been using SocksDroid for a while now, and it’s been pretty good for me. The setup is straightforward, and it handles multiple proxies without too much lag.

I haven’t had any major crashes, but it does slow down a bit when switching between proxies. If you’re looking for an alternative, you might wanna check out ProxyDroid. It’s similar but has a few extra features.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone! I decided to give SocksDroid a try based on your feedback, and so far, it’s been working pretty well for me. The setup was easy, and it’s handling my proxies without too much lag.

I did notice a slight delay when switching, but it’s not a big deal. I’ll definitely check out ProxyDroid and Postern as alternatives if I run into any issues. Appreciate the help!
