Hey everyone!
So, I’ve been trying to access YouTube from my college network, but it’s blocked (ugh, I know). I’ve been looking for a good youtube proxy service to bypass this, but there are so many options out there, and I’m not sure which ones are legit.
Anyone here got a solid recommendation for a reliable youtube proxy service? Preferably something fast and doesn’t lag too much when streaming vids. Also, free or cheap options would be awesome, but I’m open to paid ones if they’re worth it.
Oh, and if you’ve had any bad experiences with certain services, pls let me know so I can avoid those lol.

Hey! I’ve been in the same boat before. I used a youtube proxy service called "HideMyAss" (HMA) and it worked pretty well for me. It’s not free, but it’s super fast and doesn’t lag much when streaming. They have a free trial though, so you can test it out before committing. Just make sure to check if your college network allows VPNs, some block those too.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I didn’t expect so many replies. I think I’ll start with the free options like ProxySite and KProxy to see how they work. If those don’t cut it, I’ll probably go for a VPN like NordVPN or Surfshark.
Quick question though—has anyone had issues with their college detecting VPNs? I’ve heard some schools are really strict about it. Also, if I go the VPN route, do I need to install it on my phone too, or can I just use it on my laptop? Thanks again, you guys are awesome! 🙌

Lol, I remember trying to bypass my school’s network too. I used "UnblockYouTube" for a while, and it worked okay. It’s a free youtube proxy service, but it’s kinda slow for streaming. If you’re just watching short videos, it’s fine, but for longer stuff, I’d recommend a VPN. Surfshark is a good budget option if you don’t wanna spend too much.
