Hey everyone,

So, I’ve been out of the torrenting game for a while, and I’m just getting back into it. I used to rely on extra torrents a lot back in the day, but I’m hearing mixed things about it now.

Is extra torrents still a reliable source in 2023? I know there were some shutdowns and mirror sites popping up, but idk if they’re safe or even worth the hassle anymore.

Also, are the torrents on extra torrents still good quality, or has it gone downhill? I don’t wanna waste time downloading something only to find out it’s trash lol.

Any advice or alternatives would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

Hey! Extra torrents has been hit or miss for a while now. I wouldn’t fully trust it in 2023 tbh. A lot of the mirror sites are sketchy, and the quality of torrents has definitely gone downhill.

If you’re looking for alternatives, I’d recommend checking out 1337x or RARBG. Both are pretty reliable and have good quality torrents. Just make sure you’re using a VPN to stay safe!

Also, avoid clicking on random links claiming to be extra torrents. Most of them are fake and could lead to malware.

Extra torrents is kinda dead now, ngl. The main site got shut down years ago, and the mirrors are super unreliable. I tried one a few months back and ended up with a bunch of fake files and pop-ups.

If you’re getting back into torrenting, I’d suggest using qBittorrent as your client and sticking to trusted sites like TorrentGalaxy or YTS. They’ve got a good selection and decent quality.

And yeah, always use a VPN. Better safe than sorry!

Honestly, extra torrents isn’t worth the hassle anymore. The mirrors are shady, and the torrents are hit or miss. I’ve had better luck with newer sites like LimeTorrents and Zooqle.

Also, if you’re worried about quality, check the comments and seeders before downloading. That usually gives you a good idea of what to expect.

And like everyone else said, VPN is a must. Don’t skip it!

Extra torrents used to be my go-to, but it’s just not the same now. The mirrors are sketchy, and the torrents are often low quality or fake.

I’ve switched to using TorrentLeech and IPTorrents. They’re private trackers, so you need an invite, but the quality is top-notch. If you can’t get into those, try RuTracker. It’s public and has a ton of content.

And yeah, don’t forget your VPN. It’s non-negotiable these days.

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I’ve been checking out 1337x and RARBG, and they seem pretty solid so far. I also grabbed a VPN like you all recommended, so I’m feeling a bit safer now.

Quick question though—anyone know if there’s a way to filter out low-quality torrents on these sites? I’ve seen some with really low seeders, and I’m not sure if they’re worth the download.

Also, has anyone tried using a debrid service for torrents? I’ve heard they can speed things up, but idk if it’s worth the extra cost.

Extra torrents is pretty much dead, dude. The mirrors are risky, and the torrents are often garbage. I’d avoid it altogether.

For alternatives, I’d recommend checking out MagnetDL or Torlock. They’re both solid options with decent quality torrents.

Also, make sure you’re using a good ad blocker if you’re visiting any torrent sites. The ads can be insane sometimes.
