Has anyone tried myprivateproxy recently? How reliable is it for secure browsing? - HyperXpert77 - 10-01-2025

Hey everyone,

Has anyone here tried myprivateproxy recently? I’ve been looking for a solid proxy service for secure browsing, and I keep seeing it pop up.

How reliable is it? Like, does it actually keep your stuff private, or is it just another overhyped service? Also, how’s the speed? I don’t wanna deal with laggy connections, ya know?

And one more thing—any issues with getting blocked on sites? I’ve had that happen with other proxies, and it’s super annoying.

Would love to hear your thoughts before I give myprivateproxy a shot. Thanks in advance!

(Also, if there’s a better option out there, feel free to drop recs. I’m all ears!)

I’ve been using myprivateproxy for a few months now, and honestly, it’s been pretty solid. The speeds are decent—no major lag issues for me, even when streaming or gaming.

As for privacy, I haven’t had any leaks or weird stuff happening, so I’d say it’s reliable.

The only downside is that some sites do block their IPs occasionally, but that’s kinda common with most proxies. Overall, I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something stable.

Yo, myprivateproxy is alright, but tbh, there are better options out there. I switched to Bright Data (formerly Luminati) and it’s way faster with fewer blocks.

If you’re super concerned about privacy, maybe check out NordVPN’s proxy service too. They’re both solid, but myprivateproxy is a bit hit or miss depending on what you’re using it for.

I tried myprivateproxy last year, and it was... meh. Speeds were okay, but I got blocked on a few sites I needed for work, which was frustrating.

If you’re looking for something more reliable, I’d suggest Oxylabs. It’s pricier, but the IP rotation and speed are top-notch.

myprivateproxy is decent for the price, but it’s not perfect. I’ve had some issues with captchas and blocks on streaming sites.

If you’re okay with that, it’s worth a shot. Otherwise, maybe look into Smartproxy—it’s been more consistent for me.

Honestly, myprivateproxy is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s great, other times it’s slow or gets blocked.

If you’re just browsing, it’s fine, but for anything serious, I’d recommend ProxyRack. They’ve got better speeds and fewer blocks in my experience.

Wow, thanks for all the replies, everyone! Super helpful to hear your experiences with myprivateproxy and the other options.

I think I’ll give myprivateproxy a try first since it’s budget-friendly, but I’ll keep Bright Data and Oxylabs in mind if it doesn’t work out.

Quick question though—for those who recommended rotating proxies, do they work better for avoiding blocks? Or is it more about speed? Thanks again!

I’ve been using myprivateproxy for a while now, and it’s been pretty reliable for me. No major privacy issues, and the speeds are good enough for most tasks.

I did get blocked on a couple of sites, but switching servers usually fixes it. If you’re on a budget, it’s a solid choice.

myprivateproxy is okay, but it’s not the best out there. I’ve had better luck with Storm Proxies—faster speeds and fewer blocks.

If you’re looking for something more premium, check out GeoSurf. It’s pricey, but the performance is worth it.

I’d say myprivateproxy is a decent mid-tier option. It’s not the fastest or the most reliable, but it gets the job done for basic browsing.

If you’re dealing with sites that block proxies a lot, though, you might wanna look into rotating proxies from providers like Shifter.
