Hey guys,
so i was browsing and came across this thing called whatismyproxy. anyone know what it is? like, does it show if you're using a proxy or something?
i tried checking it out but got a bit confused lol. is it just a tool to see your proxy details or does it do more?
also, how does whatismyproxy even work? like, does it detect your IP and then tell you if it’s masked or not? kinda curious if it’s reliable or just some random site.
anyone used it before? lmk if it’s worth checking out or if it’s just meh.

Thanks for all the replies, guys! I checked out whatismyproxy, and it’s pretty straightforward like you said. It showed me that my proxy is working, so that’s cool.
I also tried IPinfo like someone suggested, and it gave me way more details about my IP. Super helpful!
One quick question though—does whatismyproxy work for all types of proxies, or just certain ones? Like, does it detect residential proxies too?
