Hey guys, sooo I’m kinda freaking out rn. I got IP blocked by Instagram but I’m not botting, I swear! 😭 I was just scrolling through my feed, liking some posts, and BAM—blocked. Like, wtf?
I’ve heard this happens if you do too much too fast, but I wasn’t even doing anything crazy. No mass liking, no spam comments, nada. Just normal stuff.
Has anyone else dealt with this? How long does it usually take to get unblocked? I tried logging in from another device, but no luck.
Also, is there a way to contact Instagram support or something? Their help center is a maze, and I’m lowkey losing my mind.
Pls help a girl out, I’m so confused and annoyed rn. 🙏

omg same thing happened to me last week! i got IP blocked by Instagram but I'm not botting, i swear. i was just scrolling and liking posts like a normal person.
i read somewhere that instagram flags accounts if you do too many actions in a short time, even if it's just liking posts. i waited like 24 hours and tried again, and it worked! maybe just give it some time?
also, try clearing your cache or using a VPN if you're still blocked. i used NordVPN and it helped me log back in. hope this helps!

thanks so much for all the advice, guys! i tried waiting it out like some of you suggested, and it worked after about 18 hours. i also switched to mobile data, and that seemed to help too.
i’m still kinda annoyed that instagram does this, but at least i’m back in now. i’ll definitely look into using a VPN if this happens again.
quick question though—has anyone tried contacting instagram support? i’m curious if they ever actually respond or if it’s just a waste of time. thanks again, y’all are lifesavers!
