Hey y’all,

So, Volafile was my go-to for quick file sharing, but since it’s been gone, I’ve been struggling to find something as smooth. Anyone got a solid alternative?

I’ve tried a few random sites, but they either have annoying ads, sketchy upload limits, or just feel clunky af. Like, why is it so hard to find something as simple as Volafile was?

If you’ve found something that’s close, pls share! Bonus points if it’s free (or at least not crazy expensive) and doesn’t require signing up for 10 different accounts lol.

Yo, I feel you on the Volafile struggle. I’ve been using FilePizza lately, and it’s been a solid replacement. It’s P2P, so no upload limits, and it’s free. No sign-up either, which is a huge plus.

Only downside is that it’s not as fast as Volafile for larger files, but it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you’re okay with a bit of patience.

Hey! I was in the same boat after Volafile went down. I switched to Send Anywhere, and it’s been pretty smooth. You can send files up to 10GB for free, and it’s super easy to use.

The interface is clean, and you don’t need to create an account unless you want to. It’s not *exactly* like Volafile, but it’s close enough for me.

Ugh, I miss Volafile too. 😭 I’ve been using WeTransfer for smaller files, but it’s not the same vibe.

For something closer to Volafile, try TransferNow. It’s free for up to 4GB, and you can send files to multiple people at once. The UI is a bit clunky, but it’s reliable.

Volafile was the GOAT, no cap. I’ve been using Mega.nz as a replacement. It’s not exactly the same, but it’s got a decent free plan (20GB storage), and the upload/download speeds are solid.

You do have to sign up, but it’s just one account, and it’s worth it for the encryption and security.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, y’all! I tried Send Anywhere first, and it’s been working pretty well so far. The 10GB limit is a lifesaver for my bigger files.

I’m gonna check out Mega.nz next since a few of you mentioned it. The encryption sounds like a nice bonus.

Anyone know if any of these have a chat feature like Volafile did? That was one of my favorite parts.

Honestly, I’ve been using Dropbox Transfer since Volafile disappeared. It’s free for files up to 2GB, and the interface is super clean.

It’s not as fast as Volafile, but it’s reliable and doesn’t have annoying ads. Plus, you can track downloads, which is a nice bonus.
