Hey everyone!
So, I was browsing around and stumbled on this site called browserleak. Decided to test my browser security for fun, and man, it was kinda eye-opening lol.
Turns out, my browser was leaking more info than I thought—like my IP, fonts, and even some plugins I didn’t realize were active. 😬
Anyone else tried browserleak? What did you find? Curious if I’m the only one who got a little spooked by how much stuff gets exposed.
Also, any tips on tightening things up? I’m no tech wizard, but I’d love to make my browser a bit more secure.

Yo, I tried browserleak too and it was wild! My browser was basically an open book lol.
I started using Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin to block trackers and ads.
Also, switched to Firefox with Enhanced Tracking Protection.
It’s not perfect, but way better than before.
If you’re really paranoid, check out Panopticlick by EFF. It’s another cool tool to test your browser fingerprint.

Oh man, browserleak is a wake-up call for sure.
I found out my browser was leaking way too much info too.
I started using a VPN to hide my IP and switched to Brave browser.
Brave blocks a ton of stuff by default, so it’s a good start for privacy.
Also, check out NoScript if you’re okay with blocking scripts manually. It’s a bit of a learning curve but worth it.

I was shocked by how much info was exposed.
I started using HTTPS Everywhere and Disconnect to tighten things up.
Also, cleared out unused plugins and fonts.
If you’re into testing, try AmIUnique. It’s another tool to see how unique your browser fingerprint is.

Browserleak is legit scary.
I found out my browser was leaking fonts, plugins, and even my screen resolution.
I switched to Tor Browser for heavy-duty privacy.
It’s slower, but worth it if you’re serious about security.
Also, check out CanvasBlocker to stop canvas fingerprinting. It’s a game-changer.

I started using a combo of DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials and Ghostery.
They block trackers and give you a privacy grade.
Also, try out Cover Your Tracks by EFF. It’s another great tool to test your browser’s privacy settings.

I tried a few things you guys suggested—installed uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger, and switched to Firefox.
Browserleak still shows some leaks, but it’s way better than before.
Quick question though: anyone know if using a VPN affects browserleak results?
I’m thinking of getting one but not sure if it’ll make a difference.

I found out my browser was leaking way more than I thought.
I started using a VPN and switched to LibreWolf, a privacy-focused Firefox fork.
It’s been a huge improvement.
Also, check out Decentraleyes to block CDN tracking. It’s a small but powerful tool.
