Anyone Else Experiencing Scrape Failures Unknown? What’s Going On? - MaskedPath99 - 01-07-2024

Hey y’all,
Anyone else running into these *scrape failures unknown* lately? Like, outta nowhere my scripts just started crapping out, and I have no clue why. No errors, no logs, nada. Just... nothing.

Tried the usual fixes—switching proxies, tweaking headers, even reinstalled my libraries. Still getting those scrape failures unknown. Super frustrating, especially when it was working fine last week.

Is it just me or is something going on with the sites? Or maybe some update broke things? Idk, but if anyone’s got tips or is dealing with the same, lmk.

Also, if you’ve figured out how to bypass these scrape failures unknown, pls share. I’m losing my mind over here lol.

Yo, same here! Been dealing with scrape failures unknown for days now. I think some sites are cracking down on scraping with new anti-bot measures.

I switched to using Bright Data’s proxies and it’s been way better. Their residential proxies seem to bypass a lot of the blocks. Also, try rotating user agents more frequently—some sites are super sensitive to that now.

If you’re still stuck, check out Scrapy’s middleware docs. They’ve got some good tips for handling stealth scraping.

Ugh, scrape failures unknown are the worst. I had the same issue last week and it turned out to be a TLS fingerprinting thing. Some sites are now checking for browser-like TLS handshakes.

I started using a tool called Crawlbase (formerly ProxyCrawl) and it’s been a lifesaver. They handle all the fingerprinting stuff for you. Also, make sure your requests are spaced out—too many too fast will get you flagged instantly.

Hey! Not just you. I’ve been seeing scrape failures unknown across multiple sites lately. It’s like they all decided to upgrade their anti-scraping tech at the same time.

One thing that worked for me was using Puppeteer with stealth plugins. It mimics real browser behavior better than plain requests. Also, try adding some random delays between requests—it’s annoying but helps avoid detection.

Scrape failures unknown are driving me nuts too. I think it’s a combo of IP bans and stricter bot detection.

I’ve been using Oxylabs’ scraping API, and it’s been solid so far. They handle retries and CAPTCHAs automatically, which saves a ton of headache. Also, double-check your headers—some sites are now looking for missing or mismatched headers.

Same boat here. Scrape failures unknown started popping up outta nowhere. I suspect it’s because of some recent updates to Cloudflare or similar services.

I switched to using a headless browser (Playwright) and it’s been way more reliable. Also, try using a VPN to switch your IP if you’re not already. Sometimes it’s just your IP getting blacklisted.

Man, scrape failures unknown are the bane of my existence rn. I’ve been using ScrapingBee, and it’s been a game-changer. They handle all the proxy and headless browser stuff for you, so you can focus on the data.

Also, make sure your scripts aren’t sending too many requests at once. Throttling them down has helped me avoid a lot of issues.

Hey! I’ve been dealing with scrape failures unknown too. It’s super frustrating, especially when there’s no clear error message.

I started using a tool called Zenscrape, and it’s been working great. They have a built-in retry mechanism that handles most of the failures for you. Also, try adding some random mouse movements or clicks if you’re using a headless browser—it makes the traffic look more human.

Scrape failures unknown are the worst. I think a lot of sites are now using advanced bot detection like Akamai or PerimeterX.

I’ve been using Apify, and it’s been a huge help. They’ve got pre-built scrapers that handle a lot of the anti-bot stuff for you. Also, try using a mix of datacenter and residential proxies—it seems to work better for me.

Ugh, scrape failures unknown are killing my workflow. I’ve been using Smartproxy, and it’s been pretty reliable. They’ve got a ton of IPs, so rotating them helps avoid bans.

Also, make sure your scripts are mimicking human behavior—random delays, mouse movements, etc. Some sites are now tracking how “human” your traffic looks.
