What’s the Latest on Input Output Crunchbase? Any Updates or Insights? or How Accurate and Useful Is - maskedVenture99 - 18-11-2024

"Has Anyone Used Input Output Crunchbase for Research? What’s Your Take?"

Hey folks,

Been digging into input output crunchbase lately for some crypto project research. Seems pretty solid, but wanna hear others' experiences.

Anyone else used it? How accurate do you find the funding rounds and team info? I noticed some delays in updates, but overall it’s been decent for tracking Cardano-related stuff.

Also, is it just me or do some smaller projects get overlooked?

Kinda curious if it’s worth relying on or if I should cross-check with other sources.

Drop your thoughts!

I’ve used input output crunchbase a fair bit, and yeah, the funding round data is usually accurate but not always up-to-date.

For smaller projects, it’s hit or miss—some are there, others totally MIA.

If you’re cross-checking, try Messari or CoinGecko for crypto-specific stuff. They sometimes have fresher data, especially for altcoins.

input output crunchbase is decent, but tbh, I wouldn’t rely on it alone.

Noticed the same thing with smaller projects—they kinda get buried.

For team info, LinkedIn is my go-to. Way more reliable if you’re digging into backgrounds.

Yep, used it! The Cardano ecosystem stuff is pretty solid, but smaller projects? Nah, they’re often missing.

Funding rounds seem accurate-ish, but delays are real.

Try TokenTerminal for deeper metrics—it’s been a game-changer for me.

input output crunchbase is okay, but it’s not the holy grail.

Team info can be outdated, and yeah, smaller projects barely get a mention.

For cross-checking, I’d recommend Crunchbase (the OG) or even PitchBook if you have access.

Wow, thanks for all the replies!

Didn’t realize so many alternatives existed—gonna check out TokenTerminal and AdaStat for sure.

Also, good call on LinkedIn for team info.

Anyone tried combining input output crunchbase with Glassnode? Wondering if that’s overkill or actually helpful.

Honestly, input output crunchbase is hit or miss.

Big names? Reliable. Smaller projects? Forget it.

I’ve found input output crunchbase useful, but it’s not perfect.

Funding data is usually right, but updates take forever.

For smaller projects, you might wanna try DappRadar or DeFiLlama—they’re way better for niche stuff.

input output crunchbase is alright, but it’s not my first choice.

Team info is often stale, and yeah, smaller projects get ignored.

If you’re serious about research, combine it with Glassnode or Santiment for on-chain data.

Used it a few times, and it’s… fine?

Noticed the same delays, and smaller projects are kinda invisible.

For Cardano-specific stuff, try AdaStat—it’s got some neat insights you won’t find elsewhere.
