Hey everyone!
I wanted to get your thoughts on the question: do you make a new Instagram account for college?
As I’m starting my college journey soon, I’m torn about whether to keep my current account or create a fresh one.
On one hand, a new account could help me connect with classmates and share experiences specific to college life without the baggage of my old posts.
But on the other hand, I’ve built a following on my current account that I’d hate to lose.
What have you all done?
Did you find it beneficial to have a separate account for college, or did you stick with your original?

I decided to do a fresh start and create a new Instagram account for college.
It felt nice to share my experiences without the old posts hanging over me.
Plus, it helped me connect with my classmates right from the beginning!

I think it depends on how attached you are to your current account.
If you have a lot of followers and meaningful connections, it might be worth keeping it.
But if you feel like your old posts don’t represent who you are now, a new account could be refreshing!

I created a new account, but I also kept my old one active.
I use the new one for college stuff and the old one for my personal life.
It’s nice to have that separation!

I stuck with my original account, and honestly, it worked out well for me.
I just updated my bio to reflect my college life and started sharing new content.
It was great to keep my followers and share my journey with them!
