"Can Brave Block IP Tracking? How Well Does It Work?"
Hey folks! So I’ve been using Brave for a while now, and I’m curious—does brave block ip tracking *actually* work? Like, I know it stops ads and cookies, but what about my IP?
I’ve heard mixed things. Some say it’s solid, others claim it’s not enough. Does it hide my IP like Tor or just block some trackers?
Also, how does brave block ip stuff compared to other privacy browsers? Is it just the shields, or is there more to it?
Kinda paranoid about my privacy lol, so any insights would be awesome!

Brave does a decent job at blocking trackers, but when it comes to ip tracking, it's not as strong as Tor. The shields in Brave block ip tracking to some extent by preventing third-party scripts from seeing your IP, but it doesn't hide your IP from the sites you visit directly.
If you're super paranoid, pairing Brave with a VPN is a solid move. That way, your real IP is masked. Check out Mullvad or ProtonVPN—they’re privacy-focused and work well with Brave.
Also, Brave's private windows with Tor (yes, it has that!) add an extra layer. Not as robust as full Tor Browser, but better than nothing.
