Firefox or Samsung Internet – which one do you guys like better on Android?
Hey everyone! So I've been using Samsung Internet for a while, but lately I've been hearing a lot about Firefox.
Wondering if it's worth the switch? Like, does Firefox really have better privacy stuff, or is Samsung Internet smoother for daily browsing?
Also, anyone noticed if one loads pages faster or eats less battery? I'm kinda torn between sticking with what I know or trying something new.

I switched from Samsung Internet to Firefox a few months ago and haven’t looked back. The privacy features are legit—built-in tracker blocking and extensions like uBlock Origin make a huge difference.
Samsung Internet is smoother for scrolling, but Firefox feels faster for loading heavy sites. Battery drain is about the same for me.

Honestly, Samsung Internet is just more optimized for Android, especially if you’re on a Samsung device. It’s buttery smooth and integrates well with the system.
Firefox has better customization, but I’ve noticed it stutters sometimes. For daily browsing, I’d stick with Samsung Internet unless you really need Firefox’s add-ons.

Firefox:
- Better privacy (tracking protection, extensions)
- Syncs with desktop Firefox
Samsung Internet:
- Faster on Samsung devices
- Dark mode is system-wide
I use both—Firefox for serious browsing, Samsung for quick stuff.

If you’re into extensions, Firefox wins hands down. You can add stuff like Dark Reader and NoScript, which Samsung Internet doesn’t support.
But Samsung Internet has that video assistant and ad blocker built-in, which is nice.
Speed-wise, they’re close, but Firefox feels a tad slower on my mid-range phone.

Samsung Internet all the way! The scrolling is just... better. Plus, it has a built-in ad blocker (via extensions) and supports biometric login for saved passwords.
Firefox is great for privacy, but unless you’re super paranoid, Samsung Internet does the job well.

Firefox or Samsung Internet? Why not both? Lol.
I use Firefox for privacy-focused stuff (thanks to containers) and Samsung Internet for media-heavy sites. Firefox’s battery usage is slightly higher, but not enough to bother me.
Pro tip: Try Librewolf if you want a more hardened Firefox fork.

Samsung Internet loads pages faster for me, no contest. Firefox has more features, but it’s just not as snappy on my Galaxy S21.
If speed’s your priority, stick with Samsung. If you want more control, go Firefox.

If you’re not deep into Samsung’s apps, Firefox is the better choice long-term.
