So I’ve been trying to figure out how to automate an ip change in 3 sec python. Like, literally switch IPs super fast for a project I’m working on.
I’ve seen some scripts online but they’re either outdated or take forever. Anyone got a working method?
Preferably something simple—maybe using requests, socks, or some API?
Also, if you’ve got code snippets, pls share! No need for a full tutorial, just point me in the right direction.

Yo! For an ip change in 3 sec python, you might wanna check out Tor + Stem library.
It’s not exactly 3 sec, but close enough if you tweak it.
Here’s a quick snippet:
```python
from stem import Signal
from stem.control import Controller
with Controller.from_port(port=9051) as controller:
controller.authenticate()
controller.signal(Signal.NEWNYM)
```
You’ll need Tor running tho. Not the simplest, but it works!

Dude, if you need *fast* ip changes, look into proxy rotation services like Luminati or Smartproxy.
They have APIs that let you swap IPs on the fly.
For python, just use `requests` with their endpoints.
Example:

response = requests.get("http://example.com", proxies=proxies)
```

Honestly, 3 sec is pushing it unless you’re using a VPN with an API.
NordVPN has a Python lib (nordvpn-switcher) that lets you switch servers fast.
Install it:

Then:

initialize_VPN()

If you’re okay with *public* proxies (risky!), check out `proxybroker`.
It finds free proxies and you can rotate them.
```python
from proxybroker import Broker

```
But yeah, free proxies = slow/unstable. Not ideal for ip change in 3 sec python.

Tried the Tor + Stem method and it’s *almost* fast enough.
Anyone know how to speed up the Tor circuit creation?
Also, those proxy services look dope but I’m on a budget. Any free-ish alternatives for ip change in 3 sec python?
P.S. The `netsh` trick kinda worked but my ISP is slow to refresh. 😅

For a *local* solution, you could try restarting your router via script (if it has an API).
Some ISPs give dynamic IPs on reboot.
Check your router’s docs for HTTP API endpoints.
Example (if your router supports it):
```python
import requests
requests.post('http://routerlogin.net/reboot.cgi')

Kinda janky, but might work for ip change in 3 sec python if you’re desperate.
