"Hey guys, looking for a solid united kingdom proxy – any recs?"
Need one for streaming and some light browsing. Tried a couple free ones but they’re either slow or just don’t work half the time.
Anyone got a trusted provider? Preferably something affordable but not sketchy lol.
Also, is it better to go for dedicated or shared? Kinda new to this.

If you're after a solid united kingdom proxy for streaming, I'd recommend Smartproxy. Their UK IPs are pretty fast and work well with Netflix/BBC iPlayer.
Avoid free ones—they’re usually overloaded or shady. Shared proxies are cheaper but can be hit or miss. Dedicated is better if you need consistency.

Dedicated > shared if you’re doing anything serious. Shared ones are cheaper but you’re sharing with bots and scrapers lol.
I’ve had good luck with Luminati (now Bright Data) for UK proxies. A bit steep but super reliable.
