"Is a gooogle proxy server actually safe for browsing?"

Hey guys, so I’ve been hearing about this *gooogle proxy server* thing lately. Sounds sketchy, right? Like, why would Google even need a proxy? Or is it just some random scammy site pretending to be legit?

I tried using one to check it out, and idk... it *kinda* works? But I’m lowkey paranoid about my data being logged or worse.

Anyone else tried it? Are these things safe or just a sneaky way to harvest info? Also, does it even help with bypassing restrictions, or is it just placebo?

Would love some real opinions before I dive deeper. Thx!

*(ps. sorry for typos, typing on mobile lol)*

Honestly, the whole *gooogle proxy server* thing sounds shady af. Google doesn’t officially offer proxy services, so if you’re seeing one, it’s probably a fake.

I’d stick to trusted VPNs like ProtonVPN or Windscribe if you want privacy.

And yeah, it’s def logging your data. Nothing’s free these days.

Wait, are you sure it’s not just a typo? Like someone misspelled "Google" and made a scam site?

If it’s *gooogle* with three O’s, that’s a red flag.

For safe browsing, try Tor or a legit VPN. Don’t risk it with random proxies.

I’ve used a few proxy servers before, and tbh, most are sketch. The *gooogle proxy server* sounds like a phishing trap.

If you need to bypass restrictions, Cloudflare Warp is a solid free option.

But yeah, assume anything "free" is selling your data.

Lol @ "gooogle" proxy. That’s 100% a scam.

Google has its own secure services (like Google One VPN), but they wouldn’t name it like that.

For real privacy, check out Mullvad VPN. No logs, no BS.

Proxies are hit or miss, and a *gooogle proxy server* sounds like a total miss.

If you’re just testing, use a burner email and fake details. But for real security, NordVPN or ExpressVPN are way better.

Also, check if the site has HTTPS. If not, run.

Bro, if it’s not from google.com, it’s fake. Simple as that.

The *gooogle proxy server* is either a typo or a trap.

For safe browsing, Firefox + uBlock Origin + a VPN is the way to go.

I’d avoid anything called *gooogle proxy server*. Sounds like a data harvestor.

If you need anonymity, Tor Browser is free and actually trustworthy.

Or just use a paid VPN—worth the few bucks for peace of mind.

“” - fastVoyager99 - 25-03-2025

Yeah, no. Google doesn’t do proxies like that. The *gooogle proxy server* is 100% a scam.

Try Psiphon if you need something free and decent for bypassing blocks.

But seriously, don’t trust random proxies with your data.

Wow, thanks for all the replies! Didn’t realize how sketchy the *gooogle proxy server* really was.

I’ll check out the VPNs you guys mentioned—leaning towards ProtonVPN rn.

Also, good call on the typo thing. Totally missed the extra "o" lol. Appreciate the heads up!
