"Anyone Else Having Issues with Comcast DNS Servers Lately?"
Hey y'all,
Is it just me or have the comcast dns servers been acting up *a lot* recently? Like, pages take forever to load, then suddenly work fine after a refresh. Super annoying.
I’ve tried resetting my router, flushing DNS, all that jazz... but nope. Still getting random timeouts.
Anyone else dealing with this? Or am I just cursed? 😂
Thinking of switching to Google DNS or Cloudflare, but wanna hear if others are stuck in the same boat.

Yeah, same here! Comcast dns servers have been trash lately. Switched to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and it’s way faster.
Try namebench to test which DNS works best for your location. Also, opendns (208.67.222.222) is a solid backup.

Not just you! Been having random timeouts too. Flushing DNS helps for like 5 mins then it’s back to being slow.
Switched to Google DNS (8.8.8.8) and it’s been smooth sailing. Comcast needs to get their act together smh.

Ugh, YES. Comcast dns servers are driving me nuts. Pages load half-way then die.
Pro tip: Use DNS Jumper to quickly swap between DNS providers. Found that Quad9 (9.9.9.9) works great for me.

Same issue here. Thought it was my router at first but nope—it’s definitely comcast dns servers.
Try using NextDNS (https://nextdns.io/). It’s got extra privacy features too. Way better than dealing with Comcast’s nonsense.

Switched to Cloudflare years ago and never looked back. Faster *and* more reliable. Do it, you won’t regret it.

If you’re techy, try setting up a Pi-hole with Cloudflare as upstream. Blocks ads *and* fixes DNS issues. Win-win.

Bro, I gave up on Comcast’s DNS ages ago. Switched to Cloudflare and never had a single issue since.
Seriously, just ditch Comcast dns servers. They’re not worth the headache.
