"Does ProxyCheck Really Block All Proxy Traffic Effectively?"

Hey folks, been testing proxycheck for a while now and wanted to share my thoughts. It’s pretty solid at catching most proxies and VPNs, but *all* of them? Nah, not quite.

I’ve seen a few sneaky ones slip through, especially newer or less common VPNs. Still, it’s way better than some other tools I’ve tried.

Anyone else noticed gaps? Or maybe tweaked settings to improve accuracy?

Also, does it slow down your site? Mine got a *tiny* lag after enabling it.

Curious to hear your experiences!

I've been using proxycheck for about 6 months now, and yeah, it’s *good* but not perfect.

Noticed some residential proxies slipping through, especially those rotating IPs.

For better coverage, I paired it with IPQualityScore—kinda fills the gaps.

Site speed? Eh, a tiny hit, but worth it for the extra security.

Anyone else tried combining tools?

Proxycheck is decent, but if you’re serious about blocking *all* proxies, you gotta layer it.

Cloudflare’s firewall rules + proxycheck works like a charm for me.

Also, yeah, the lag is real on high-traffic sites. Tweaked the cache settings and it helped a bit.

Honestly, no tool blocks *everything*. Proxycheck does like 90% of the job, which is better than most.

For the sneaky ones, I manually blacklist IP ranges. Pain in the butt, but it works.

Speed-wise, it’s negligible unless you’re running a mega-site.

Proxycheck + BrightData’s proxy detection is my go-to combo.

Covers most gaps, but yeah, nothing’s foolproof.

As for slowdowns, try async loading—helped me a ton.

Kinda surprised no one mentioned IP2Proxy yet.

Proxycheck misses some, but IP2Proxy catches a lot of the obscure ones.

Downside? Costs more. But if you’re getting hammered by bots, it’s worth it.

I’ve found proxycheck works best with *aggressive* settings.

Crank up the sensitivity and whitelist legit users manually.

Yeah, it’s extra work, but cuts down on the slip-throughs.

Anyone else notice proxycheck struggles with mobile proxies?

Switched to MaxMind for that specific issue and it’s been solid.

Still use proxycheck for the basics tho.

Thanks for all the tips, folks!

Tried pairing proxycheck with IPQualityScore like someone suggested, and it’s *way* better.

Still seeing a few gaps, but way fewer.

Anyone got a fix for the mobile proxy thing? That’s my next headache.

Also, async loading helped with the lag—good call!
