"Anyone Else Using Shadow Rocket? What’s Your Experience?"

Hey guys, been using shadow rocket for a while now, mostly for bypassing geo-blocks and keeping my browsing low-key.

But lately I’ve seen mixed reviews—some say it’s still solid, others claim it’s gotten slower or less reliable.

What’s your take? Does it still hold up for privacy, or are there better options now?

Personally, I’ve noticed a few connection drops, but it still unblocks Netflix and stuff pretty well.

Also, anyone know if shadow rocket’s logging policy is still trustworthy? Heard some rumors…

Kinda torn between sticking with it or switching. Would love to hear your thoughts!

(Also, if you’ve got tips to speed it up, lmk lol.)

I've been using shadow rocket for about a year now, and it's been pretty solid for me.

Yeah, there are occasional drops, but nothing major. For Netflix and other streaming, it still works like a charm.

If you're worried about speed, try switching servers manually—sometimes the auto-connect picks slower ones.

As for logging, I haven’t seen any concrete proof they keep logs, but if you're paranoid, maybe check out ProtonVPN or Mullvad. They’re more transparent.

Shadow rocket is decent, but tbh it’s not the fastest out there.

I switched to Windscribe recently and it’s way smoother for geo-unblocking.

Still, if you’re just using it for basic stuff, shadow rocket gets the job done.

No idea about their logging policy tho—kinda sketchy that they’re not super clear about it.

Honestly, shadow rocket used to be my go-to, but the drops got annoying.

I moved to NordVPN and it’s been way more stable. Plus, their no-logs policy is audited, so that’s a plus.

But if you’re tight on budget, shadow rocket is still okay-ish. Just don’t expect miracles.

Yo, shadow rocket still works fine for me!

I use it mostly for torrenting and haven’t had any issues. Speeds are okay, not amazing, but it’s cheap so can’t complain.

For logging—no clue, but I don’t do anything super illegal so I’m not sweating it lol.

If you’re getting drops, try changing the protocol in shadow rocket settings.

I switched to WireGuard and it’s way better now. Still not perfect, but fewer disconnects.

For privacy, I’d recommend checking out IVPN—they’re super strict about no logs.

Shadow rocket is hit or miss these days.

Some days it’s flawless, other days it’s unusable.

I’ve heard good things about Surfshark tho—might give that a shot soon.

OP here—thanks for all the replies!

Tried switching to WireGuard like someone suggested, and it’s definitely more stable.

Still on the fence about logging tho. Anyone got a link to shadow rocket’s official policy? Couldn’t find anything recent.

Also, might test out Surfshark or NordVPN based on your recs. Appreciate the help!

Anyone else notice shadow rocket struggles with Hulu?

Netflix works fine, but Hulu detects it every time.

Might just be my config tho.

For speed, try connecting to servers in less crowded regions.

Shadow rocket’s Japan servers are usually faster for me than the US ones.

Also, clearing the app cache sometimes helps.
