Got the "Your IP has been banned" Error – Any Way to Unban It?

ugh, just got the "Your IP has been banned" error outta nowhere.

no idea why—wasn’t spamming or anything. could it be a false positive? or did the site just nuke my IP by accident?

tried using mobile data, and it works fine, so def an IP ban.

any tips to get unbanned? or do i gotta wait it out?

thanks in advance! 🙏

Hey, same thing happened to me last week! Turns out my ISP uses dynamic IPs, so I just unplugged my router for like 10 mins and got a new IP.

If that doesn’t work, try using a VPN like ProtonVPN or Windscribe—they have free tiers. Just make sure the site allows VPNs tho, some don’t.

Also, check if you were using any bots or scripts? Sometimes even harmless extensions can trigger bans.

lol classic IP ban panic. Been there.

First, chill—it’s probably temporary. Some sites auto-ban for too many login attempts or rapid refreshes.

Try contacting support with your IP (google "what’s my IP" if you don’t know it). They might unban you if it’s a mistake.

Or, if you’re desperate, use Tor Browser. It’s slow af but gets around bans.

Ugh, IP bans are the worst. Could be a shared IP issue—like if you’re on a school/work network or VPN.

Try hotspotting from your phone to check. If it works, then yeah, your main IP is toast.

For a fix, you could try a proxy (like HideMyAss) or just wait 24-48 hrs. Some bans lift automatically.

Bro, restarting the router doesn’t always work—you gotta force an IP release.

On Windows, open CMD and type:
`ipconfig /release`
then
`ipconfig /renew`

If that fails, call your ISP and ask for a new IP. Some will do it if you say you’re "having connectivity issues."

IP bans suck, but they’re usually for a reason. Did you:
- Use a scraper?
- Spam comments?
- Share your account?

If not, maybe someone else on your network got you banned. Try using a VPN (NordVPN or Surfshark) to bypass it.

Pro tip: Check if the ban is really IP-based. Clear cookies/cache or try incognito mode first. Sometimes it’s just a session ban.

If it’s definitely your IP, use a free proxy site like ProxySite.com to access it temporarily. Not great for logging in, but okay for browsing.

Lmao, got this once for using a "too fast" autoclicker.

Sites hate rapid actions. If you were refreshing like crazy or using macros, that’s probably why.

Try a VPN (CyberGhost is good) or just wait it out. Most IP bans aren’t permanent unless you’re actually hacking.

OP reply:
yo, thanks for all the tips! Tried the CMD thing and it didn’t work, but switching to mobile data did. Guess my home IP is cooked.

Gonna try a VPN like y’all suggested—anyone know if TunnelBear is good? Or should I go for Nord?

Also, how long do these bans usually last? Like, if I do nothing, will it fix itself in a week or smth?

If you’re on a dynamic IP (most home users are), just reboot your router overnight. ISPs often recycle IPs when leases expire.

For a quicker fix, use a mobile hotspot or a library’s WiFi to see if it’s really your IP.

Also, some sites list banned IP ranges—google "[site name] IP ban list" to check.
