Hey folks, been wondering about this for a while. A lot of sites claim browser-in-a-browser proxies keep you anonymous, but how true is that?
Like, sure, it hides your IP from the site you're visiting, but what about the proxy itself? Can't *they* see everything you're doing? And what if the proxy logs your data? Feels like you're just trusting some random middleman.
Also, do these things even block cookies or fingerprinting? Or is it just a fancy way to get around geo-blocks?
Kinda skeptical tbh. Anyone got real experience with this? Would love to hear if it's actually safe or just a false sense of security.
