ughhh so annoying!! been trying to upload pics for like an hour but keep getting the *Instagram error: result code hung (laptop)* thing.
tried restarting chrome, clearing cache, even reinstalled insta... no luck.
anyone else dealing with this?? pls tell me there's a fix đ
or is it just insta being glitchy again?
(also, why does the error sound like itâs judging my laptop lmao)

ugh same here! been battling the Instagram error: result code hung (laptop) for days.
found a weird fix thoâswitched to incognito mode in chrome and it worked?? no idea why but maybe give it a shot.
also, downdetector.com showed a spike in insta issues earlier, so could be their servers acting up.

omg this error is the WORST. i got the Instagram error: result code hung (laptop) too and freaked out.
tried everything until i saw a reddit thread suggesting to disable browser extensions.
worked for me! turns out my adblocker was messing with insta.

my fix: uninstalled chrome and reinstalled the *canary* version (itâs like a beta build).
no issues since then. might be worth a try if ur desperate lol.

also, check ur internet connectionâsometimes a VPN can trigger this error.

i fixed it by resetting chrome flags (type chrome://flags in url bar and hit reset all).
no clue why it worked but hey, no more errors!

this errorâs been popping up a LOT lately.
for the Instagram error: result code hung (laptop), try clearing cookies *and* site data specifically for instagram.
also, check if ur browserâs hardware acceleration is onâturning it off helped me.

not sure if thisâll help but...
i got the Instagram error: result code hung (laptop) and fixed it by uploading via the mobile app instead.
annoying workaround, but at least itâs something.
