Hey folks!
I’m having a bit of a headache with the windows 10 hardware random mac address not working situation. 😩
So, I turned on that random MAC address feature for privacy reasons, but it just doesn’t seem to work properly. Sometimes it connects fine, and other times it just drops out or won’t connect at all.
I’ve tried updating my drivers, switching the settings on and off, and even rebooting my PC. Nothing seems to fix the windows 10 hardware random mac address not working issue.
Has anyone else run into this?
Would love any tips or fixes you guys might have!

I recommend checking if your network adapter supports random MAC address features fully.
Sometimes, not all hardware works well with this option, leading to connection drops.

I had similar problems before, and I found that updating my network adapter's firmware helped.
Make sure you check for any available updates from the manufacturer’s website!

If you haven't already, try resetting your network settings altogether.

I’ve faced the windows 10 hardware random mac address not working issue too!
Sometimes, it helps to disable the random MAC address feature and then re-enable it.
This has worked for me in the past to reset the connection.
