Hey guys,
Is it just me or is the instagram application not working rn? I keep getting error messages and my feed won’t refresh. Tried restarting my phone and reinstalling the app, but no luck.
Anyone else facing this? Or is it just my wifi acting up lol.
Also, are the stories loading for y’all? Mine are stuck on the loading circle.
Let me know if you’ve got fixes or if it’s a wider issue. Thanks!

Same here! The instagram application not working for me either. Feed won’t load, and stories are stuck.
I checked Downdetector, and it’s spiking—seems like a server issue. Maybe wait it out?
Also, try switching to mobile data if you’re on WiFi. Sometimes that fixes it.

Ugh, yeah, instagram application not working for me too. DMs are broken, and reels won’t play.
Pro tip: clear your app cache (Settings > Apps > Instagram > Storage > Clear Cache). Helped me once before.
If that doesn’t work, it’s probably on Instagram’s end.

Downdetector shows tons of reports, so it’s not just you. Server outage maybe?

Fixed it by logging out and back in. Worth a shot!
If that fails, check your internet connection. Sometimes it’s just a fluke.

Downdetector’s blowing up, so it’s definitely not just you.
Try using Instagram on a browser as a temporary fix. Works sometimes!

Checked Outage.Report, and it’s confirmed: Instagram’s down in multiple regions.
No fixes yet, but they’re usually quick to resolve these. Hang tight!

Try turning on Airplane mode for 10 secs, then off. Sometimes resets the connection.
If not, it’s probably a server thing. Downdetector agrees.
