Title: Is Pandora Unrestricted Still Working? Share Your Experiences!

Hey everyone,

Been trying to get pandora unrestricted to work lately, but having zero luck. Used to work fine with a VPN, but now it’s just blocking me no matter what server I pick.

Anyone else facing this? Or found a workaround that actually sticks?

I’ve seen mixed stuff online—some say it’s dead, others claim tweaking DNS settings helps. Would love to hear real experiences tho, not just random blog advice lol.

Also, if you’ve got pandora unrestricted running smooth, what’s your setup? Proxy, VPN, or something else?

Thanks in advance!

(PS: pls don’t suggest “just use Spotify”… we all know why we’re here 😅)

Yeah, pandora unrestricted has been hit or miss for me lately. I used to rely on NordVPN’s US servers, but now it’s a gamble.

Found a workaround tho—try Windscribe’s "Windflix US" servers. They’re optimized for streaming and still work for me. Also, clearing cookies/cache before connecting helps.

If that fails, SmartDNS like Unlocator might be worth a shot. Less lag than a VPN for music.

Ugh, same here. Pandora unrestricted was my go-to, but it’s been brutal recently.

I switched to ProtonVPN’s free US servers (weirdly, the paid ones get blocked faster?). Not perfect, but gets me in 70% of the time.

Also, someone on Reddit said changing your device’s timezone to match the VPN helps. No idea why, but it worked once? Worth a try lol.

Still works for me! Here’s my setup:
- VPN: Surfshark (LA server)
- DNS: Cloudflare (1.1.1.1)
- Browser: Firefox with privacy badger

Key is to NOT use the app—web player only. The app detects VPNs way easier.

If you’re techy, try setting up a private VPS in the US. More work, but zero blocks so far.

Honestly, pandora unrestricted feels like a cat-and-mouse game now.

I gave up and moved to Tidal with a VPN. Same vibe, less hassle. But if you’re dead set on Pandora, try TunnelBear’s "GhostBear" mode. It’s slower but sneaks past blocks sometimes.

Also, avoid Google DNS. For some reason, Pandora hates it.

Works fine here, but I’m using a combo:
- Mullvad VPN (NYC server)
- Custom DNS (AdGuard)
- Ublock Origin to kill tracking scripts

Biggest tip: Don’t log in until AFTER the VPN’s connected. Weirdly, logging in first triggers the block.

Pandora unrestricted is still alive, but you gotta play dirty.

I rotate between ExpressVPN, CyberGhost, and PIA. When one gets blocked, I switch. Annoying, but it’s the only way lately.

Also, try incognito mode + VPN. Less fingerprinting = fewer blocks.

OP here—wow, didn’t expect so many replies!

Tried Windscribe + DNS tweaks like some suggested, and it’s... kinda working? Still get blocked after a few songs tho.

Question: Anyone using WireGuard configs instead of regular VPN apps? Heard it’s stealthier but no clue how to set it up.

Also, big thanks to everyone who shared setups! Gonna test the residential proxy idea next.

(And yeah, Spotify’s algo is trash compared to Pandora’s. Fight me.)

It’s not just you—Pandora’s cracked down hard.

My fix? Residential proxies. More expensive than VPNs, but they mimic real US IPs. I use BrightData, and it’s been flawless for months.

Downside: Setup’s a pain, and it’s overkill if you just want music.

Lol @ "just use Spotify." Pandora’s algo is unbeatable.

Anyway, my hack:
1. VPN (Private Internet Access)
2. Spoof GPS location (Fake GPS app)
3. Use an old account (new ones get insta-blocked)

Weirdly, mobile works better than desktop for me.
