Hey everyone,
I’m really frustrated because discord locked me out of my account for adding people, and I’m trying to understand why this happened.
I was just trying to connect with some friends, and suddenly I got a message saying my account was temporarily restricted. I didn’t think I was doing anything out of the ordinary!
I’ve read that Discord has these spam filters in place, but I didn’t realize adding friends could trigger it.
Has anyone else experienced this?
What steps did you take to regain access?
I’d appreciate any advice or insights on how to avoid this in the future! Thanks! 😊

When I got locked out, I contacted Discord support, and they were pretty helpful.
It took a few days, but they eventually restored my account.
Make sure to explain your situation clearly when you reach out to them!

I totally get your frustration!
I had a similar experience when Discord locked me out of my account for adding people too quickly.
It turns out their spam filters can be pretty sensitive, especially if you’re sending a lot of friend requests in a short time.

I also heard that having a verified phone number and email can help with account recovery.
If you haven’t done that yet, it might be a good idea to set it up!

I think the best way to avoid getting locked out is to spread out your friend requests over a longer period.
I’ve learned to be more cautious after my account got restricted!
