Hey! Had the same issue last week. For Windows 10, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.
Under "Manual proxy setup," toggle off "Use a proxy server."
Sometimes malware enables it randomly—run a scan with Malwarebytes just in case. Hope that helps!

For Windows 10, sometimes the proxy gets enabled by crappy software. Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN settings.
Make sure "Automatically detect settings" is checked and proxy is unchecked.
If it’s still weird, try disabling VPNs or "metered connection" in network settings.

Weird thing—my proxy was set to some random IP. Ran Malwarebytes like someone suggested and found a few nasties.
Now my browser’s back to normal. Appreciate the help!

Proxies can be sneaky! If you’ve tried the basics and it’s still on, check your registry (carefully!).
Press Win + R, type "regedit," navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings.
Look for "ProxyEnable" and set its value to 0. Backup your registry first tho!

Hey, had this issue too. If you’re on Chrome, try this:
1. Open chrome://flags
2. Search for "proxy"
3. Disable any experimental proxy settings.
Sometimes updates mess with flags. Also, run ADWCleaner to nuke any hidden junk.
