Hey folks,
I've been testing out Bright Data for a few projects, and gotta say, their proxies and scraping tools are pretty solid. But is it *really* the best option out there?
I’ve seen some folks swear by it for large-scale data collection, while others say it’s overkill for smaller jobs. The pricing can be a bit steep, but the reliability is hard to beat.
Anyone else have thoughts? Maybe compared to other platforms like Oxylabs or Apify?
Also, ever run into issues with Bright Data’s compliance stuff? Heard mixed things.

Bright Data is solid, but yeah, it’s pricey. If you’re doing small-scale scraping, check out ScraperAPI or ParseHub. They’re way cheaper and easier to set up.
That said, Bright Data’s proxy network is unbeatable for heavy-duty stuff. Used it for a e-commerce price tracking project and had zero bans.
Compliance can be a headache though. Had to double-check their TOS a few times to make sure I wasn’t stepping on any toes.
