Hey guys, so I just found out Google’s been pinning my WiFi location on maps and stuff. Kinda creepy, ngl.
Anyone know *how to hide my wifi location on google location*? I’ve tried turning off WiFi scanning in settings, but not sure if that’s enough.
Also, does changing the router’s SSID or MAC address help? Or do I need to mess with the Google Maps contributions thing?
Any tips would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

Yo, I had the same issue last month! To hide your wifi location on google location, you gotta opt out of Google's Location Services.
Go to *Google Maps > Settings > Location Settings > Google Location Accuracy* and turn it off.
Also, disable *Wi-Fi scanning* in your phone settings. That stops Google from using your router for location data.

One follow-up: Does using a *guest network* instead of main WiFi help with hiding wifi location on google location? Or is that just placebo?
