Looking for a reliable British proxy server – any recommendations? or Which British proxy server offe - TorDrifter99 - 19-08-2024

"Looking for a reliable british proxy server – any recommendations?"

Hey folks!

I’ve been trying to access some UK-only content lately, and my usual VPN is acting up. Need a solid british proxy server that’s fast and doesn’t drop every 5 mins.

Any suggestions? Preferably one with good speeds for streaming and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Also, if you’ve used one that’s *actually* reliable, lmk! Cheers Smile

"Best british proxy server for bypassing geo-restrictions?"

Alright, so I’m tired of hitting those "not available in your region" errors.

Need a british proxy server that actually works for BBC iPlayer, All 4, etc. Tried a couple free ones, but they’re slower than a dial-up connection.

Any paid/free options that won’t let me down? Bonus if it’s easy to set up—I’m not exactly tech-savvy lol.

Thanks in advance!

I’ve been using SmartDNSProxy for a while now, and it’s been solid for UK content. Works great with BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub.

Not exactly a british proxy server, but it masks your location well. Speeds are decent for streaming, and it’s pretty affordable.

Only downside is it doesn’t work with *all* sites, but for most geo-blocked stuff, it’s a winner.

Yo, if you’re looking for a british proxy server, check out PrivateVPN.

Used it for All 4 last month, and it didn’t buffer once. Plus, their customer support actually replies fast lol.

It’s paid, but they have a 30-day refund thingy if it doesn’t work out.

Honestly, free british proxy servers are hit or miss. Most are slow or get blocked quick.

I’d recommend NordVPN’s UK servers. Yeah, it’s a VPN, but their proxies are built in, and they’re lightning-fast for streaming.

A bit pricier, but worth it if you’re tired of constant drops.

Have you tried Windscribe? They’ve got dedicated british proxy servers, and you can even get a free plan with limited data.

Works with Channel 4 and BBC iPlayer, no issues so far.

Setup’s super easy—just pick a UK server and go.

ProtonVPN’s free tier has UK servers, but they’re kinda slow.

If you’re willing to pay, their paid plans are solid for a british proxy server alternative. No logs, good speeds, and unblocks most stuff.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys!

Tried Windscribe’s free plan, and it’s working okay so far. Buffers a bit, but better than nothing.

Might give Surfshark a shot next—sounds promising.

Anyone know if they have a trial? Don’t wanna commit without testing first lol.

Lol, I feel your pain. Tried like 5 different ones before settling on Ivacy.

Their british proxy servers are consistent, and they’re cheap af. Like $2/month if you grab a long-term plan.

No drops during footy streams, which is a miracle.

For a quick fix, Hola VPN’s browser extension works as a british proxy server.

But… it’s peer-to-peer, so privacy’s iffy. Fine for casual browsing, but I wouldn’t trust it for sensitive stuff.

Surfshark’s been my go-to. Cheap, unlimited devices, and their UK servers are *chef’s kiss* for geo-unblocking.

Plus, it’s a VPN, but it acts like a british proxy server if you just need location spoofing.
