I’ve been running into a major headache lately. Whenever I try to install Cypress, I keep getting hit with a message that says cloudflare block cypress install. 😩
After some digging, I found out that Cloudflare might see the Cypress install requests as suspicious. This usually happens because of their security settings that can flag automated traffic.
So, here’s what I’ve tried to fix it:
1. Change your network: Sometimes, switching to a different Wi-Fi or using a VPN helps.
2. Adjust user-agent: Some people recommend changing the user-agent in your requests to avoid detection.
3. Contact support: If it keeps blocking you, reaching out to Cloudflare support might be worth it.

Changing the user-agent is a great idea! I had to do that when I was running into the same block. Just make sure to use a user-agent that mimics a regular browser to avoid detection.

I faced this too! The VPN method worked for me. Just make sure to pick a server that’s not overloaded, as that can cause delays. Good luck!

I recommend checking your request patterns as well. If you’re sending too many requests too quickly, that might trigger the block. Slowing down the requests can help!
