Hey guys, so I’ve been using DuckDuckGo for a while now, and I love the whole privacy-first vibe. But I’m kinda confused—does DuckDuckGo actually hide your data from your ISP?
Like, I know it doesn’t track *me*, but can my ISP still see what I’m searching? Or does the encryption block them too?
I’ve heard mixed things, and tbh, I’m not super tech-savvy. Some say it’s just the search engine, others claim it’s more.

So DDG encrypts my searches but doesn’t hide the fact that I’m using it from my ISP. Got it.
I’ll probably stick with DDG for now but might try a VPN later. Any free ones you’d recommend? Or are they all sketchy?
