Hello everyone,
I am currently facing an issue with a device ban reddit new phone, and I’m quite perplexed by it. I recently switched to a new phone, and now I’m unable to access my Reddit account.
I understand that Reddit has measures in place to prevent spam and abuse, but I’m not sure why my new device would trigger a ban.
Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?
If so, what steps did you take to resolve the device ban? I’d appreciate any insights or solutions to regain access to my account.

If you contact Reddit support, they might help you out. I had to explain my situation, and they lifted the ban on my new device after verifying my identity.

I also had to wait a bit after switching devices before I could log in. It seems like Reddit has some time-based restrictions to prevent fraud. Patience might be key here!

I think the device ban issue is pretty common when switching phones. Just make sure to log in from a stable network. Sometimes, using a VPN can help if you’re getting banned because of your IP.

I faced the same thing when I got my new phone. What worked for me was clearing the app cache and then reinstalling Reddit. After that, I was able to log in without issues.
